GCH CH Expecto Patronum Taurunum Angel’s RI BCAT CGCA TKA

Rio loves his people, loves to train, and loves to compete. He is one who just has a lot of love. He and I learned how to compete in Conformation together, and he earned his Championship at age one and his Grand Championship at barely two years old. He loved performing so much that we dabbled in Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog during those first years, earning five titles (Trick Dog Novice/TKN, Trick Dog Intermediate/TKI, Trick Dog Advanced/TKA, Canine Good Citizen/CGC, and Canine Good Citizen Advanced/CGCA).

Rio is the fifth fastest Grand Champion Cavalier in the United States as of November 2023, running 17.76mph on average in AKC’s  FastCat. He earned his BCAT and is working towards his FCAT. When he sees the lure, his eyes dilate and turn into hearts. It makes him happy and me happy, to see him doing something so passionately and enthusiastically.

Rally is our next ongoing endeavor. It is an opportunity to showcase your dog’s talents and your teamwork through a series of tasks in a ring. Rio has earned his Rally Novice (RN) and his Rally Intermediate (RI) so far. We will be delving into Therapy work and Obedience in 2024. Rio is 17.5lbs of love.
